A room made for long afternoons
Wooden beams above, terracotta below. A linen sofa, a wide coffee table, and a record player with our family's collection. The shutters are tall enough to throw open in the morning and close against the heat at noon.
The kitchen
Azulejo, copper pans, lemons.
Blue and white tiles chosen by the grandmother in 1962. A gas stove, a real oven, copper pots on open shelves, and the daily market three minutes' walk away. Cook like you live here.
